"40 Years of Adventure" Metal Collector Coin

This 2″ collector coin depicts the Headpiece to the Staff of Ra from the 1981 film Raiders Of The Lost Ark. The coin is antique gold plated (to give it a cool aged look) and in the center rests an amber-colored rhinestone (which legend has it can be used to reveal the location of the Ark of the Covenant). The back of the medallion-inspired coin features a redrawing of the Ark of the Covenant, as well as the phrase spoken by Marcus Brody in the beginning of the film: “An army that carries the ark before it is invincible". Both sides of the coin also feature different markings, to mimic the original medallion design.
