Firefly/Serenity-inspired 6” x 6” portrait drawing with a new Cortex computer screen framework. 
 

Firefly first aired in 2002, and for many people including myself, was the first introduction to the genius that was Shawna Trpcic. As the costume designer, Shawna gave the entire 'Verse a vibrant life of its own; a look & feel that so many people would recognize from just a glimpse. Sadly, we lost Shawna in 2023 and this world has become less beautiful because of it.

For San Diego Comic Con 2024, the California Browncoats created a wonderful memorial for Shawna and her lasting artistry in our lives. I created this portrait piece both as a memento of her beautiful smile & charm as well as to commemorate her as one of the crew of Serenity. These compact prints are sized at 6" x 6", perfect for areas with little wall space or with plenty of room to showcase several at this size.

These prints show the portrait drawing as if looking at an Alliance personnel dossier on a computer screen. On the left, you can see various characteristics, both in English and Chinese (the 2 main languages within The 'Verse.) The dossier wouldn't be complete with fingerprints along with the person's name and occupation. Lastly, you can see various star systems in the photo background (where Serenity flies true every time).

These are a limited edition run of only 100 numbered giclée prints on art paper. Each one will be signed by me and can be personalized upon request. Perfect gift for any Firefly fan, whether you be Pro-Alliance or a full-fledged Browncoat!!
